sunny and a little breezy today,
a perfect sweet day............
and i love it..
I've been stitching on the challenge of LORI from Notforgotton Farm...
she had prepared a "Happy Halloween" freebie for all of us!

hhhmmn i am not very good passing up a challenge :)
.....Me started thinking...thinking...and dreaming.....with Maloo ^0^
.....i surrounded myself with sweet thoughts, thread & linen........
......and started working on this Hallowe'en Sampler.
~* After few sleepless nights and drinking lots of coffee....and doodling...
and surely lots of sewing (:
Here I Present...
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
i stitched it on 32 count belfast linen....with one strand of dmc thread over two...
............i chose old-looking,muted thread color for this design........and i coffee dyed the linen by myself.
WITH THAT.................
A STITCHY WITCH *.*
wandering in a pumpkin patch, she loves to stitch and sew all day & night.....
she is wearing a metallic chain around her neck holding a tiny old scissor charm.......
And these old buttons are her only treasure.....
The hat she is wearing she found that in her great grandmother old trunk.....and she loves it dearly (:

i combined applique, embroidered ..etc on this piece ~ like the simple look of this ~

MY FINISH....that fill my heart!
I decided to make it into a pillow....very plain...very primitive & simple looking...
.....................thats suits me just fine ;)
and i love it <3
Me had lots of fun working on this piece...
...........she will stay in my room with ME........I'm pretty sure she will be a GOOD company (:
