i have been a happy busy lady today..
celebrating  alizay's and deary maloo birthday...she turned 14 this year..and maloo turned 3...

They both are a pure joy in my happy home...
it was a wonderful day of celebration...
a day of giggle..

laughter...
and yummyyyy presents..
a quilt to warm them in the cold night...

eating cakes...

more gifts...

 and

hugs...and love..
it was a happy day and i am a blessed bird in my nest...
this was a day of many memories....more sweet ones..
all moments of pure joy..

It was long ago....

hello dear friends,
happy sunday..
i am hummimg this poem from the morning and it is my another fav one..
sweet words from my happy heart for you all..
IT WAS LONG AGO:-

surprise...
in my happy cove i am having a little tea part today..
my own little tea party :)
our dear parsley came up with this sweet idea of a online tea party in the blogland..
  i am joining parsley and her daughter for a tea party on her blog seasons of my mind..

Five Roses is a South African brand of tea.

 i am a sweet tooth and i am always been a fan of home baked breads and scones..
hmmnn
yummy smell is coming from the kitchen...
fresh scones are calling my name..
aww lots of strawberry jam and fresh cream..yum yum

here is my fav recipe of scones for you..
Scones

• 2 cups sifted cake flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 5 tablespoons butter
• 2 egg yolks
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1/2 cup light cream (or milk)
• 1 tablespoon lightly beaten egg white

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, and place the shelf in the middle.
2. Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl.  Rub the butter into the dry mixture until the mixture looks like peas.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the egg yolks, egg white and cream.  Mix thoroughly.
4. Put the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
5. Shape the dough into a large circle about 6 inches in radius, and 1/2 inch thick.  Cut into 8 wedges.  Place on an greased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes.
6. Remove when golden brown.
7. Serve with jam and fresh cream....

dear julie sent me this cute picture with the most sweetest message..

she says..
"This was a project I did for my dad, and it reminds me of summer when I was a child.  He wanted to have me make something for him.  I had trouble though, cause I didn't find anything that called to me in his name.  Then I saw this, and it was perfect for dad.  He had a sailboat for a while when I was a kid, and this reminded me of that.  It was a bookmark pattern, but I did it on fourteen count and framed it.  I worked on it at his house for a week and a half, and he had no clue.  I did it right in front of his eyes, and when I told him that, he started paying attention to what I was working on.  I'm dedicating Desert Landscapes Mandala to him cause I did so much of it at his house.

i am thinking after submitting my assignment and my research work end of this year..i will take a little break next year or may be i will study correspondence from home.

hello dear friends and happy Thursday :)
where does the time go?it just seems that days are flying too fast..
i hope the day has been super happy for you...it has been truly for me...
life is going on happily..
so in this little time the one i am getting..i am so busy but enjoying myself..

 i just have to share this..
next month on 25 august is my birthday and my family surprised me with my early birthday gift..
they are sending me to "ighali workshop"to cape town.
i will fly on 27 august and it is a 3 day workshop and i will come back on 31 august.
i will attend Hardanger Sampler class there..
here it will look like this..

 i received the material and thread from my teacher..i have to do satin stitch and kloster block and finish before ighali and the rest i will do in the workshop with my teacher..
i can chose the color of the threads and it is on linen material..
i chose mushroom color and it is perle thread..
here is my tiny progress....

 i enjoying it from my heart <3

it is so cold here..i cant tell you..it is so cold and super windy...my washing line is flying in the air.."wosh"

it is a stitching time in my happy and cosy cove...

Happy Tuesday dear friends,
i am stitching happily..this happy time i found and i am enjoying every bit of it..
reading and stitching and stitching and reading..
singing and laughing and walking...
i am so blessed....
remember this sweet kit..of biscornou...

i got it from yiotas  ..
i so much wanted to see it finished..so i grab her from my stitchy basket and here it is now all finished and happily resting in my biscornou basket..
i enjoy stitching her so much..
my little new treasure...
now what next???
