Summer postcard blog hop ....

i just received a mail from from jo of Serendipitous Stitching and i got my summer postcard blog hop..
i am so excited for it that i could'nt wait for another minute..
i just grabbed my laptop and here i am sharing this sweet post card with you all :)

i love this postcard so much ..and it is from JULIE at Julie's and yes Dear's Raving
dear julie sent me this cute picture with the most sweetest message..

she says..
"This was a project I did for my dad, and it reminds me of summer when I was a child.  He wanted to have me make something for him.  I had trouble though, cause I didn't find anything that called to me in his name.  Then I saw this, and it was perfect for dad.  He had a sailboat for a while when I was a kid, and this reminded me of that.  It was a bookmark pattern, but I did it on fourteen count and framed it.  I worked on it at his house for a week and a half, and he had no clue.  I did it right in front of his eyes, and when I told him that, he started paying attention to what I was working on.  I'm dedicating Desert Landscapes Mandala to him cause I did so much of it at his house.
